How to download and log in to your CTG Axie Scholarship account.
In order to download the Axie Infinity Alpha, one will need to have three Axies in their account. Luckily that’s what the CTG Scholarship Program is here to provide. I will briefly touch on the downloading and logging in process for both Windows and Android.
The first step is to download the game through the Axie Infinity alpha download site axieinfinity.com/community-alpha and select the platform you will be using to play the game, or download the alpha directly from the links below.

IOS: Must request an invitation from the Axie Infinity team. Use the Community Alpha link axieinfinity.com/community-alpha and select IOS to request the invitation for the IOS “Test Flight” app. Once the request has been sent, the CTGteam will send you the link to download the game.
Windows Download
For Windows OS you will need to download Axie Infinity’s Mavis Hub, where you will be able to launch the game, see all your in-game friends, as well as the most recent articles of “The Lunacian”, Axie Infinity’s official newsletter. After you download the Mavis Hub install file, you will need to unzip it in order to install the actual application. Open the download and select the mavis-hub-setup file, then choose the extract all option.
In order to extract the Mavis Hub application, you will most likely have to grant the app permission to download. To do this select the more info option, then select run anyway
Logging in to Mavis Hub
Once the Mavis Hub application is downloaded, you will be able to sign in using the email and password provided by the CTG team.
Mobile Download for Android
After downloading the Community Alpha, find the corresponding file in your downloads. After selecting the file you will most likely need to grant the app access to download the game.
Navigate your settings to allow app installs from unknown/external sources to grant permission to download the game.
Once the game is installed, you will be directed to a mobile login screen that will require a QR code to access. Choose the Scan QR Code option.
There are two ways to access your QR code to sign in to the mobile application. The first option is located in your account screen on the Axie Infinity website here marketplace.axieinfinity.com/login. Select the blue login button in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Once you reach the login page, use the CTG Scholarship email and password provided to you to log in to your account. After logging in, select the Show QR button in the upper right. Once you bring up your QR code, use the previous SCAN QR CODE option on the mobile app to scan the QR code. You can also navigate to the website through your mobile device and take a screenshot then select the CHOOSE FROM PHOTO option to log in.
The second option is to go through the Mavis Hub application on your computer. If you have already downloaded the CPU version of the game, you can bring up your QR code by selecting the settings button in the lower-left corner. Once you have opened the QR code you can proceed to scan it through the mobile application.
Already have a MetaMask attached to the Axie Infinity website and keep getting this error?
In order to fix this error, you will need to either use a different browser or disconnect your personal address from the Axie Infinity website. To do this select your personal address that is connected to the site. Find the three dots in the upper right corner to bring up your account options. Select the option for connections and find the Axie Infinity symbol with the trash can next to it, click on the trash can to disconnect the address. See the pictures below.
I Don’t see my Team?
Once you have opened the game application, you may need to sync the Axies from the blockchain to the game. To do this, navigate to the first tab on the bottom left for Axies. After selecting the Axies tab, click the Sync button in the top right. After doing this you will be able to create your team. Go back to the main screen and select the Teams button in the middle, then click on the create new team button.
We recommend you set up your team in this formation to start. Put the Tank (highest HP Axie) in the very front spot. Line the middle Axie, usually a beast or bug, all the way to one side and behind the tank unless it is a healer. The Speed threat, usually a bird or aqua will usually go in the very back, right behind the middle Axie.
